FRAME carried out an integral work of creative direction, concept, brand, architecture, construction, civil de-functionalization and landscaping.

Welcome aboard for a nautical experience! The project for the new Argumento restaurant, located on the shores of the Carlos Paz lake in Córdoba, repurposes a brutalist building from last century to give rise to an architectural and gastronomic proposal that recalls sailing in general. Navy blue, white, wood and rope are the elements that the studio took as premises to shoot all the elements designed by the team.
"The main objective was to highlight the old building, which due to the passage of time was left aside. Not only the existing brutalist architecture but also the characteristics of the place and the lake were left aside", says architect Pedro Ruiz Funes.
For the exterior sector, we recreated a particular setting through the incorporation of rigid and white structures that just as they contrast with the old building and the lake, they highlight and value them at the same time.
Inside, a more generic support was chosen to house art and specific concepts for each interior sector. This is how each interior ceiling has a particular artistic intervention, all of them designed from figures with organic order and smooth curves that allude to water and the sea, especially the mural painted by Memi Martinez as the "masterpiece" of the set. As for the furniture, something similar happens: blue is the color that predominates and the design and choice of each set, once again refers to the initial concept of the marina.

FRAME studio integrally with a large multidisciplinary team solved all the variables of the project in three months, from the beginning to the end, more than a hundred people; among them architects, designers, collaborators and employees who gave rise to this amazing restaurant.
The existing building provided us with two terraces with a direct view of the lake, which were completely rearranged, and turned into new areas to equip and receive guests. The first terrace was maintained and its viewpoint was improved, it now holds new functions such as DJs hosting and provides an experience of good gastronomy and live entertainment. The space is delimited by a metal structure that can also provide coverage and lighting.
"The main challenge was that such a large space, with so many elements, made sense all together and could coexist harmoniously, and that is why with small de it was possible to bring concepts to materialize in various ways, such as For example, the rope that "ties" the logo, then we see it on the terrace as a partition", says Arch. Carlos Arias Yadarola.
The study was in every detail always thinking about finishings, landscaping, lighting, furniture, type and quality of equipment, napkin holders, signage and waiters operation, added to the readjustment of technologies, returning what was formerly a disused building into a valued and functional architectural building.
